Do you want to know what did I do the last Friday? No? Well it doesn't matter, because this is my blog and I should as well use it.Some years ago I had several problems with my PC, the last time I bought and used a 2Tb WD HDD... and that was a big mistake.

As you can see by the photo, by now I know that WD Green HDD are terrible, dont' judge me.
Anyway, that HDD was faulty and, at some point, almost unreadable. That was a huge problem because I was unable to access to the information.
In the end, with the help of certain program, I managed to recover a considerable part of the data, which was moved to an external drive.

Como pueden ver por al foto, para este momento ya se que los DD WD Green son terribles, no me juzguen.
Como sea, ese DD esta defectuoso y, en algun momento, era casi imposible de leer. Lo que era un gran problema por que no podia acceder a la informacion.
Al final, con ayuda de cierto programa, pude recuperar una parte considerable de los datos, los cuales fueron movidos a un disco externo.

So what?
The thing is that I didn't organized anything. And that's it, I spent a big part of the Friday organizing that "backup"... That sounds like a simple task, Right? WRONG!I used to be a massive picture hoarder, from dumb pictures, weird and random stuff to really good art.
Therefore, that day on that folder I found 39,930 files (12.2Gb).
Now, I barely organized a tiny part of the folder, but I managed to deleted 10,000 pictures (almost 5Gb), which is a good start.

La cosa es que no organice nada. Y eso es todo, pase gran parte del Viernes organizando el "respaldo"... Eso suena como una tarea simple ¿Verdad? ¡ERROR!Yo solia ser un enorme acaparador de imagenes, desde imagenes tontas, cosas raras y random hasta arte de calidad.
Por lo tanto, ese dia en ese folder encontre 39,930 archivos (12.2Gb).
Ahora, apenas y organice una pequeña parte de ese folder, pero logre borrar 10,000 imagenes (casi 5Gb), lo cual es un buen comienzo.
I should really organize that thing, mostly because a new backup is needed. I don't wanna lose anymore of my own pictures/sketches/commissions :P.
Finally, knowing that basically no one will read this kind of stuff, probably I'll post random information and news on this blog.

En verdad deberia organizar esa cosa, principalmente por que un nuevo respaldo es necesario. No quiero perder mas de mis dibujos/sketches/commissiones :P.
Finalmente, sabiendo que casi nadie leera este tipo de cosas, probablemente posteare informacion y noticias random en este blog.

ResponderBorraronly 39k pics? I got a folder with 261k pics, art from various artists and your stuff.... that is like 130 gig... pics. Not counting comics and videos.

BorrarYes, so am i. A folder filed with pics.. that havent been sorted into the right folders. Like artist, cartoon, game and so on..... You know... You find a pic and you just save it to the folder... and not into a specific one..... will take ages to sort that one out-_-.... think it would be 15 years worth of stuff..... or something

Borrarhahahaha,, welcome to my world.....first need to sort pics into specific folders.. then when its all done go into the specific folders and put the pics in the right artist folder...,,, All whille still saving NEW PICS into the big folder.-_- that i have now just took and put all unsorted pics into a Zunsortedneedtodoo folder
